$200.00

All proceeds go straight to the Arhauco Tribe to help them support their mission on reclaiming sacred lands and returning the power back into who reverences the earth and is here to build the forest back.

Handmade by the Arhauco Tribe women who live in the mountains Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta in Colombia. These wool tote bags are handmade with the sheep’s hair that also live with them on the mountains.

Each wool tote bag are unique and one of a kind and a reflection of the prayer of the weaver themself. They speak of their thoughts and intentions for this wool bag. Each mochila is living and a direct connection to the mountain itself.

This Mochila has the name “Aura” to reflect what each humans energy field looks like. The center or “circle” represents the ‘human’ and branches from the circle reflect the energy that surrounds us always that we subconsciously and consciously command. I also feel spider energy from this bag. The Spider represents elder energy, the dance between the weaver and the woven. She is also a gatekeeper of the dream realm and related to the dream catcher. Spider energy to remind us to weave our reality. We are the creators of our world and it is our responsibility to weave with intention and care.
